what does your name mean? do you think that it's fulfilled its prophecy over your life?
Technically, Shelby, of English origin, means sheltered; a place where willows grow. I don't know much about willows, but sheltered, seems to describe me most of the time. Though I was actually named after Julia Roberts character from Steel Magnolias, which I hope is not an indication of my future.
